All is quiet

Ett Glatt hjärta gör ansiktet ljust...

A happy heart makes the face cheerful...

(edited by PI)

Betsy feels the same way I do this weekend !

I had a meeting at the Museum on Saturday. The gift shop is having a 20% off sale for members so I picked this up. I hadn't seen this in Swedish before !

Yesterday was gray but dry so spent a few minutes in the yard. Today it's been misting on and off. A perfect day to stay inside.
A native rose called "Nootka" I believe, is trying to take over the front yard !

Rosa Rugosa "Hansa" and Meadow Rue

When Karen C. and I stopped by Village Yarn and Tea a few weeks ago they had a sample of this knit out of Sea Silk ! We both thought it was a hoot. She wants to do one for her cousin who wears this kind of garment all the time. I don't know how anyone thinks this is comfortable !

Lucky you -- your "overtaking" roses are lovely... I'm a great believer in encouraging native plants to find their place; far better than trying to coerce other plants to survive :`) Of course, you've probably already gathered that I'm not much of a gardener, myself...

Are you making something else from the Seasilk? I can't imagine wearing the "hoot"-ish pattern either, but I'm dying to try the Seasilk for something as yet to be decided. Have you knit with it before? Must get my hands on some, it looks so luscious!...

I like native plants too.
I haven't knit anything with the Sea Silk yet but it feels lovely.
Another shop had a shawl knit out of it using an Evelyn Clark pattern. It is gorgeous !

Thanks for stopping by ! You have a nice blog. My son Marc loves soccer. Sounds like your Marc is in a great league.
Betsy is a mixed breed. The rescue organization thought she was Corgi/Bassett/Beagle something ! She could have Cattle dog in her though ! Your video is cute.
I used to do cross-stitch when I was younger. There is too much fun stuff to do and not enought time to do it in !
